Yew Tree Cottage is hidden treasure nestling high on the south facing hillside above the village of Glyn Ceiriog just minutes from
Lllangollen. It enjoys truly breathtaking views up and down the Ceiriog vallery, if you are lucky you will see sheepdogs working on
the surrounding hills. Its address is simply Yew Tree Cottage, The Garth (Welsh for hillside), Glyn Ceiriog.
This traditional cottage has a cosy lounge with an open fire and stunning picture window, a generous dining hall and well equiped
farmhouse kitchen which even has its own woodstove. Upstairs are the master bedroom the second bedroom and the family bathroom.
There is a small garage and off road parking is also available nearby.
The cottage is ideally located in the heart of a network of public footpaths. There is a wealth of wildlife and countless birds on The Garth. Behind the cottage is an acre of steeply sloping woodland garden that has been managed organically to provide the
perfect setting for a relaxing break. In the summer months, tucked away in the garden, is the Yew Tree Cottage Yurt which has easy access to the outside toilet.
Yew tree cottage sleeps four in comfort in the upstairs bedrooms and can accommodate one or two camp beds in the lounge. For the more adventurous as many as four people can sleep outside in the yurt. The kitchen is equipped for eight. This charming cottage has not been given a ‘makeover’ and retains the look and feel of a family home. Well behaved children and pets are welcome, the accommodation offers a fantastic combination of indoor/outdoor living as well as great value for money.
